CARDBOARD FRAME
I rarely like photography framed under glass. It always seems to take away from the photographic print. Framing and archiving my fine art prints has always posed a challenge for me. I want the prints to be seen for what they are: beautiful prints on high quality fine art papers, with no glare or gloss in front of them.
Back in 1999, while mounting my first photo exhibition, “Distressed Photography,” I found a solution in what I call, “Cardboard Frames,” hand-made frames, made from recycled cardboard, metal-wire, and glue.
